Privacy Policy

How Jolt Electrical Services LLC handles information collected through this website and through service and bid requests.

Effective September 2, 2026

This policy explains what information Jolt Electrical Services LLC collects through this website, how that information is used, and how to reach us about it. It covers this website and the requests submitted through it. Work performed for a customer is governed by the written agreement, proposal or invoice for that job.

  1. Who we are

Jolt Electrical Services LLC (“Jolt”, “we”, “us”) is a multi-trade electrical, HVAC and plumbing contractor working in Eastern and Central North Carolina. This website is operated by Jolt Electrical Services LLC.

Questions about this policy, or requests about your own information, can be directed to the office:

  2. Information you provide

The forms on this site ask only for what is needed to respond to the request in front of us.

    Service requests

    • Your name and how you would like to be contacted — phone number, email address, or both
    • The property or job location the request concerns
    • Which trade the work falls under, and a description of the problem or the work you want done
    • Anything else you choose to include in the message

    Bid invitations and plan submissions

    • Your name, company and contact details
    • Project name, location and bid date
    • The divisions or scope you want us to cover
    • Any project documents, plan links or notes you send with the invitation

    Employment applications

Job applications are collected through a Google Forms page hosted by Google, not through this website. Information entered there is handled under Google's terms and privacy practices in addition to ours.

  3. Information collected automatically

Like any website, this site is served by a hosting provider that receives ordinary request information as part of delivering pages and protecting the site — for example the IP address the request came from, the browser and device type, the pages requested and the referring page.

This site does not currently run analytics, advertising tags or tracking cookies, and does not build advertising profiles. If that changes, this policy will be updated before the change goes live.

  4. How we use information

We use what you send us to:

    • Respond to service requests, questions and bid invitations
    • Schedule and perform work you have asked us to do
    • Prepare quotes, proposals and bid responses
    • Follow up on work in progress or work already completed
    • Keep ordinary business, job and accounting records
    • Protect the website from spam, abuse and automated submissions
    • Meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations that apply to us

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.

  5. How form submissions are handled

When you submit a form, your entries are checked on our server for completeness and for signs of automated abuse. From there the request either reaches our service inbox through a delivery provider, or is handed back to you as a prefilled email to send from your own email program — the page tells you which happened before you leave it.

You can always reach us directly by phone or email instead of using a form.

  6. Spam and security handling

To keep the forms usable, the site applies basic automated-abuse protection:

    • A hidden field that ordinary visitors never see or fill in; submissions that complete it are treated as automated and discarded
    • A limit on how many submissions can come from the same connection in a short period
    • Server-side checks on the length and format of what is submitted

We use reasonable measures intended to protect information handled through the site. No internet transmission, email system or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

  7. Service providers

We rely on a small number of outside services to run the site and communicate with you. They receive information only as needed to perform that function on our behalf, and their own privacy and security practices also apply:

    • Our website hosting provider, which serves the site and receives ordinary request information
    • Our email provider, which carries messages to and from the service inbox
    • Google, which hosts the employment application form
    • A lead delivery service, if and when one is connected to route form submissions to our inbox

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to legal process, enforce our agreements, investigate fraud or abuse, or protect the rights and safety of our customers, our people or the public.

  8. How long information is kept

We keep information for as long as it is reasonably needed to respond to your request, perform and stand behind the work, maintain job and accounting records, resolve any dispute, and meet legal and tax requirements that apply to a licensed contractor.

Inquiries that do not turn into work are kept for a limited period and then discarded or de-identified.

  9. Your choices and requests

You can ask us to provide a copy of the information you have sent us, correct it, or delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you. Records we are required to keep for legal, tax or warranty reasons may be retained after such a request, and we will tell you if that applies.

To make a request, contact the office by phone or email and describe what you are asking for:

  10. Children

This site is intended for homeowners, businesses, property managers and construction professionals. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

  11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the business or the website changes. The current version is always posted on this page with its effective date at the top.
